Then, <a href=\"http:\/\/aulibmedia.blogspot.com\/2015\/07\/coming-soon-most-epic-slapstick-of.html\">the lost Laurel and Hardy sequence<\/a>. Now, film conservationists have found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/film\/2016\/oct\/11\/researchers-find-film-early-cinema-pioneer-georges-melies-match-de-prestigidation\">a long-list film by Georges M\u00e9li\u00e8s<\/a>, one of the pioneers of cinema.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e9li\u00e8s was one of the pioneers of film as an art form, especially in the area of special effects: the director was an illusionist, and he used his skills to create astounding effects that had never been previously achieved on screen. M\u00e9li\u00e8s reportedly produced over 500 films, and although you may know his famous <i>A Trip to the Moon<\/i>, most of his work has been lost.<\/p>\n<p>This particular film, <i>Match de Prestidigitation<\/i>, had the wrong name on the container when it arrived at a Czech film archive.
