The Second Annual Eco-Comedy Video Competition<\/a> received 75 entries this year from all over the world. All submissions are now available for you to enjoy here<\/a>, under the video responses<\/span> heading, and the finalists have been included in this post. You can also find them on the Center\u2019s website at www.environmentalfilm.org<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jordan Ballantine and Blathnaid Giles got first place with their film, Green My House<\/i>. <\/span>Jordan and Blathnaid (both from Ireland) receive $1,000 from the Center for Environmental Filmmaking.<\/span><\/p>\n

Information about the Third Annual Eco-Comedy Video Competition will be available on the Center\u2019s website in the fall.<\/p>\n

Center Director, Chris Palmer thanks EcoSense, the Environmental Protection Agency, Friends of the Earth, and Mill Reef Productions for making this competition possible through a partnership with SOC\u2019s Center for Environmental Filmmaking at AU. They launched this competition as a way to encourage the use of humor in the fight for conservation.<\/span><\/span>
