If you need a pre- or post-Halloween film happening, we have you covered.<\/p>\n<p>First up is <i>My All American<\/i>, an Aaron Eckhart-fronted drama about the University of Texas&#8217;s football team from the writer of <i>Hoosiers<\/i>. We have no clue if it&#8217;s any good, but that&#8217;s some good sports movie pedigree. This one is at <b>7pm on Thursday, October 29th<\/b> at the AMC in Friendship Heights. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gofobo.com\/MAAAMERICANULIBRARY\">Grab passes here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A little further down the road, we also have passes for <i>Brooklyn<\/i>, the story of an Irish immigrant in the 1950s played by Saoirse Ronan. Early reviews from film festivals are very positive (<a href=\"http:\/\/variety.com\/2015\/film\/in-contention\/brooklyn-youth-fox-searchlight-oscar-contenders-1201593171\/\">with some Oscar talk, of course<\/a>), so you might want to see this one before Ronan breaks out. This screening will be at<b> 7:30pm on Tuesday, November 3rd<\/b> at the Georgetown Loews theater. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxsearchlightscreenings.com\/AULibBrooklyn2\">Early birds can get their passes via Fox Searchlight<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, as we always need to warn that these events are intentionally overbooked to ensure that there&#8217;s a full house.
