Bender Library has a new display of browsable DVD collections, including Best Picture Winners, Animation, Documentaries, Horror, Washington DC on Screen, and Staff Picks. These hand-picked selections are currently available to view in room B56 located on the Lower Level of the library. Just look for the classic Blockbender sign above the door!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Titles collection provides access to the newest hits such as Obsession<\/a>, Bugonia<\/a>, and One Battle After Another<\/a>, as well as fan favorites like Dune <\/a>Parts 1 & 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Hard to Stream collection has some more obscure films that you won’t find on streaming apps. If you haven’t already spent enough time watching Matt Damon try to get home, check out Dogma<\/a>, a 1999 satirical comedy where he and Ben Affleck star as fallen angels trying to get back into heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our extensive TV show collection offers bingeable nostalgia with full seasons of The Office<\/a>, Parks and Recreation<\/a>, Seinfeld<\/a>, Breaking Bad<\/a>, and many more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every film and TV show on display is free to watch either in-house at the viewing stations or at home with a 7-day loan period. Don’t have a DVD or Blu-Ray player? No problem! We also have a variety of media players<\/a> available for loan, allowing you to watch from your TV, computer, or on the go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, win a chance at a free drink token from the Davenport Coffee Lounge by participating in our Guess the Theme<\/a> contest. Submit your guess at the table right outside of the Blockbender room. All of the films in the contest are available for members of the AU community to check out from the Circulation Desk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
