It&#8217;s probably best just to list them.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Tonight at 7pm in Wechsler Theater<\/b>, the Center for Environmental Filmmaking kicks off its spring film series with National Geographic&#8217;s <i>War Elephants<\/i>, a new documentary about the perilous state of elephant populations in conflict-torn Africa. The film is free and open to the public. You can see a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.american.edu\/soc\/cef\/upcoming-events.cfm\">full list of their upcoming screenings here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><b>Starting this Wednesday at 7pm<\/b>, the American University Museum at Katzen will begin the Katzen Cinema Series of films related to their current exhibits. The first entry, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.american.edu\/cas\/museum\/calendar\/?id=4273933\"><i>The Face of Russia: Part 3<\/i><\/a>, examines the history of Russian politics and culture through the lens of art. The series continues on March 6th with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.american.edu\/cas\/museum\/calendar\/?id=4273938\"><i>Women Art Revolution<\/i><\/a>, on April 17th with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.american.edu\/cas\/museum\/calendar\/?id=4273940\"><i>Double Take<\/i><\/a>, and on May 8th with <i>Guest of Cindy Sherman<\/i>. The screenings are free and come with popcorn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both these are great opportunities to watch notable films \u2014 some old and some new \u2014 on the cheap.
