She believed art could be &#8220;something about you, your own idea, and work.&#8221; Her lesson plans also reveal her belief that teaching through art could demonstrate to her students how to work both creatively and independently while at the same time following instructions and overall directions.<\/p>\n<p>Through art, Christine&#8217;s students\u00a0expressed themselves, their culture, and their hopes.
