Her makes you rethink what exactly love, loneliness, and the role of technology in human emotion. It shows how deeply we humans can bond with something not physically real, yet emotionally powerful similar to the way that movies can foster emotional reactions out of us even though we know they are not real. The Matrix (1999)

We all know The Matrix from its one picture red pill in one hand, blue pill in the other. But beyond that iconic moment is a story about waking up. Neo, a hacker, finds out that everything he thought was real is actually a computer simulation. As he dives deeper, he has to choose between comfort and truth, illusion and freedom.
