The weather this morning is downright balmy compared to the last few weeks, and the high today is supposed to be a comfortable 56 degrees Fahrenheit. Since the weather is so comfortable, I guess it makes sense that today’s random movie examines something that makes Americans very uncomfortable– social class.
People Like Us: Social Class in America (DVD examines exactly what it says on the tin. Here’s our description:

Although Americans like to say that class doesn’t exist here (or at least they used to– I know a lot of millennials who would argue that there’s a definite class system), class intersects with race to create a uniquely American system. This documentary series examines that phenomenon.
