Film festival season is upon us once again! In the next few weeks, DC/DOX and WorldPride are screening shorts and features in cinemas all over town. If you like documentaries or are passionate about LGBTQ+ topics, then you’re in luck.

The festival is also hosting the Reality Check Forum, offering panels, workshops, master classes, and legal clinics on topics is documentary filmmaking.
DC/DOX is an independent event organized by Sky Sitney, former director of and current professor at Georgetown University’s Film and Media Studies program, and Jamie Shor, president of the DC-based public relations firm PR Collaborative.

The 50th annual WorldPride celebration is happening now through June 8th in Washington, DC! As part of the festivities, the WorldPride Film Festival takes place next week, from May 27th through the 29th.
