The Understanding 9/11 Television News Archive has Launched!

A blog from the collections team at www.archive.org recently announced the launch of Understanding 9/11: A Television News Archive. It’s basically a library of news coverage of the events surrounding 9/11 from both the U.S. and international broadcasts from all around the world. This resource for scholars, journalists and the public, the library presents one week (3,000 hours from 20 channels over 7 days) of news broadcasts for study, research and analysis, with select analysis by scholars. It’s quite impressive. Check it out.
